Thank You ILWU, PMA, & LA Harbor Maritime Community for a Successful ILWU/PMA Luncheon!

On Friday, June 26, the ILWU, PMA, and wider maritime community met at the Dalmatian-American Club for our 21st Annual ILWU/PMA Luncheon.

For 21 years, this luncheon has been made possible by one fact: On the waterfront, people take care of their own.

That’s why, when the port community gathered last Friday, it wasn’t just to share a meal with us but to connect with and invest directly in the youth of our community.

Every child who walks through the blue doors of the Boys & Girls Club is looking for the same things: a safe place to belong, a mentor in their corner they can trust, and a clearer path toward their future, wherever it may lead.

That's why the ILWU/PMA Luncheon matters. What the waterfront brings to that table doesn't stay there. It follows our youth into their neighborhoods and into the years ahead, across San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, Harbor Gateway, Lomita, and the greater South Bay.

Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor serves 2,600 youth across 26 Club sites, providing arts, athletics, academic support, mentorship, and college and workforce readiness.

Together on Friday, the money you helped raise will continue to keep these programs running.

The luncheon is one day, but the work is year-round. Every dollar stays right here in the Harbor Area, funding the programs our children rely on.

Thank you again for showing up for our Youth. We're proud to do this work alongside you.
