The Boys & Girls of the Los Angeles Harbor is seeking proposals from qualified food vendors to provide snacks and meals for this year’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP). Vendors are expected to provide lunch and pm snacks during the summer for 6 to 8 summer day camp locations. Vendors are also expected to provide pm snacks and supper for 6 to 8 afterschool at-risk program locations. The contract awarded through this RFP process will be given to a vendor that can serve all 6 to 8 sites sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor in the Summer of 2023 and the 2023-2024 school year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor will consider vendors that can produce and deliver meals (pm snack, lunch/supper) that meet the USDA’s SFSP and CACFP meal pattern requirements. 

The successful vendor will enter a contract with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor for the SFSP beginning June 12, 2023, and ending August 4, 2023, and for the CACFP beginning August 14, 2023, and ending June 7, 2024.

The deadline for the proposal submission is March 30, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. (PST).
