Our Youth of the Year, Melanie Fontelera, is demonstrating the success of the Los Angeles Harbor. We are proud to announce that she has been selected as one of the final 6 candidates out of the 23 Clubs in the Los Angeles County Alliance for Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year competition.
Melanie is also planning for her success beyond high school. She was recently awarded with a scholarship from Toyota Financial Services and has been accepted by 10 universities. She plans to study law to become an attorney.
