Mark your calendars for the 20th Annual Bids For Kids Auction and Dinner on October 2, 2015 at the Long Beach Hyatt Regency.
On October 3, 2014, we celebrated our 19th annual Bids For Kids with a baseball themed auction and dinner event at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
The evening truly felt like a night out at the ball park with attendees donning their favorite team jerseys as they celebrated around baseball themed décor and auction items. Bids For Kids is our largest annual fundraising event and is chaired by Board President Yvonne Bogdanovich.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America President Jim Clark attended this year’s event to honor Executive Director Mike Lansing. As guests took their seats for dinner, Mr. Clark spoke of BGCLAH’s impact not only in the local community, but on a national level with the replication efforts of their successful College Bound program at 53 Clubs nationwide. He then presented Mike with the National Professional Service Award, stating that he has now only presented this esteemed honor twice as president of Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
