College Bound is our highly successful college pathway support program available to all members, grades 4 through 12. Since we implemented the program, we have raised the graduation rate of our members from less than 50% in 2002 to 95% in 2014, with 95% of those graduates going to a four-year university or two-year college.
Check out the recent third-party Evaluation of the College Bound Program completed by Dr. Todd Franke, Professor and Chair in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and funded by the MacFarlane Family Foundation.

The most challenging barrier that many youth face when applying to college is acquiring the money necessary to pay for higher education. We assist all of our youth with individual guidance to address each student’s financial situation in addition to workshops on financial aid and scholarship applications. In 2014, we helped our graduates earn over $4,700,000 in scholarships and financial aid.
We support the replication efforts of our College Bound program at 53 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide, 16 of which are in Los Angeles County. We serve College Bound students in these Clubs with the tools needed to set up and maintain their program, bi-weekly webinars with accompanying curriculum and daily support for College Bound coordinators across the country.
